Interface
USB3.0, up to ~300 MB/s streaming

Differentiators

Continuous streaming, not a memory buffer

A typical high-speed camera trades recording time for frame rate: a trigger fills a short on-board memory buffer, then the camera goes quiet while it offloads. STREAMER 1M13 doesn't wait for a trigger — it's already recording, continuously, over standard USB3.0, so an unpredictable event doesn't need to be predicted in advance to be captured.

Continuous streaming

24/7 operation over USB3.0 — not a short buffered burst.

Edge-preserving compression

In-camera compression brings sustained data rate within reach of standard storage — quantified on a real deployment below.

Synchronized measurement

4× 16-bit ADC and 2× GPIO channels captured on the same clock as every frame.

STREAMER 1M13 is used in industrial process monitoring, synchronized multi-camera acquisition and scientific instrumentation. The timing and data-rate figures on this page come from the process-monitoring deployment, in a steel mill.

Streaming architecture

From sensor to storage

A simplified view of the data path — the compression step is what makes sustained 24/7 streaming realistic over a standard interface.

Synchronization

Video and measurement, on one clock

The steel-mill deployment reports two separate results: how closely video and measurements line up in time, and how accurately they line up in position.

Timing jitter (temporal)

~10 ms → nanosecond-range jitter

Without frame-synchronous acquisition vs. with HSCAM's synchronized system.

Sync accuracy (spatial)

Sub-millimeter accuracy

An independently stated figure.

Software & integration

Four integration tiers, from Python to FPGA

Recording, playback and analysis run in HSCAM Viewer. Camera and recording behaviour can be scripted in Python; the FPGA tier reaches sub-microsecond latency.

Integration tier Latency · platform · who integrates
Python-Framework camera SDK < 100 ms latency · PC/Laptop · customer with provided examples
Camera SDK integration < 100 ms latency · PC/Laptop · customer with additional HSCAM support
FPGA integration < 1 µs latency · on-camera · HSCAM only for now
DAQ extension < 1 µs latency · DAQ module · HSCAM only for now
